Florida men's basketball, men's and women's tennis and women's golf programs all received recognition from the NCAA for achieving APR scores in the top 10 percentile in the country.

"When you are recognized in the top 10 percent nationally for academic achievement, you are obviously performing at a very high level," Florida athletic director Scott Stricklin said. "We applaud the commitment by the student-athletes and those that guide and mentor them to excellence beyond athletics."

It's the fourth straight year the UF men's basketball team has been recognized, the longest streak of any SEC school since the APR was introduced in 2003. The APR (Academic Progress Rate) is an academic measurement that accounts for eligibility, retention and graduation of student-athletes.

The Florida women's tennis team has been recognized for three straight years.
